Job description
Our partner company, a leading tech startup in Los Angeles, is seeking a Human Resources Intern to join their team for a 6-month internship. They are committed to developing innovative solutions that make a positive impact on people’s lives. As a Human Resources Intern, you will have the opportunity to work with a team of experienced professionals in a dynamic and exciting industry.
As a Human Resources Intern, you will work closely with the HR Manager to support various aspects of the HR function, including recruitment, employee engagement, and benefits administration. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the fast-paced world of HR and learn from a team of experienced professionals in a dynamic and exciting industry.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the HR Manager with recruitment and onboarding activities, including posting job listings, reviewing resumes, and scheduling interviews.
- Provide administrative support for various HR programs, including employee engagement surveys, benefits administration, and performance management.
- Assist with the planning and coordination of company events and activities, such as team-building events and employee recognition programs.
- Help maintain accurate employee records and assist with HR data reporting and analysis.
- Assist with other HR projects and initiatives as needed.
Profile
Education: Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in human resources, business administration, or a related field. Recent graduates may also be considered.
Competences and qualifications
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. You should be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously and ensure that all tasks are completed accurately and on time.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills. You should be able to communicate effectively with team members and external stakeholders professionally and courteously.
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn. You should be eager to learn and grow in your role and be open to feedback and coaching.
